was making a small break from studies and I found a headline that has puzzled me greatly.

First I have been "WTF?!" Did not understand what possible rationale could be until I read referring to divert flights to Spain (which by now has newly opened airport) to connect them to America. No longer a curious thing that the British raised something. But, not content with that, I read the first comentary and I find this.
